City life

I love cities and their vibrant energies. They are simply a melting pot of people, emotions, chaos, traffic, architecture, culture, art and much more.

I live in the heart of the busy city center of Algiers, the capital and largest city of Algeria, also known as « El Mahroussa » (the well-kept); “el-Behdja” (The Joyous) or “Algiers the White.” It is a city with an incredible past and a population that comes from the 4 corners of the country, a city where tradition meets modern life…

Being surrounded by historical monuments and endless streets gives me a feeling of serenity. I like to let myself be surprised by the countless possibilities around me, I never get bored when I decide to take a trip to the city center, there is always something new to discover, always a new story to be told.

This portfolio, City Life, tells different stories from Algiers, but also form other cities that I have visited. It is simply my take on urban or street photography trying to capture the soul of the city life.
